NEW YORK – For the average price of a New York take-away, attendees get some healthy food, a bottle of water and an hour of dance grooves. The ”Lunch Beat” concept originated in Sweden about three years ago and spread around the world, and nine-to fivers agree, it sure beats staying in the office. ”It’s better than eating a salad at my desk,” said one fan of the lunchtime events. And because this is an alcohol-free event, there’s no excuse to hang around the bar. Everyone is expected to ”get down”.
