There’s an open casting call for ”Big Brother” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 26 at Terminal B-2, Victory Casino Cruises, 180 Christopher Columbus Drive, Port Canaveral. It is the only open casting call for the 17th season of the reality TV show in the Sunshine State. According to bigbrothercasting.tv, bring ”a form of ID and a great attitude.”

For those who are unable to make the Port Canaveral casting call, there’s an option to apply online.

Online application deadline for those 21 and over is May 15, the website states. Filming will take place over the summer.

The show takes 10 housemates/BB contestants, isolating them from the outside world for about three months — no electronic devices and life under constant TV and audio surveillance. There’s a weekly eviction, and the last contestant to survive the evictions wins the top prize. ”Big Brother” from George Orwell’s novel ”1984” inspired the reality show’s name. Julie Chen, co-host of CBS’ daytime talk show ”The Talk,” has hosted ”Big Brother” since 2000.
