Sports CLUB hosting a "Let’s Dance-A-Thon" Family Fun Event – Naples Daily News
Sports CLUB is a local non-profit organization that began in 1999 with a mission to provide opportunities to children and their families for after-school care that teaches the ultimate balance between academics, the arts and physical activity. The program was initially offered in two schools and quickly grew to include many public and private schools. As the demand grew, the organization was able to acquire the Sports CLUB Center that is now the hub of many other programs and offerings, such as gymnastics, dance, drama, basketball and much more. This year the Sports CLUB will be celebrating it’s success of the past 15 years, while looking forward to the future and its continued development. On August 24, Sports CLUB, 3275 Pine Ridge Road, Naples, 239-566-2582 www.SportsCLUBNaples.com will be hosting a ”Let’s Dance-A-Thon” Family Fun event which will include dancing, games, football activities, food, raffles, crafts, contests and gift bags. YESTERDAY I HEADED uptown to the Cartier store to pick some pieces to wear for the Childhood gala (pics from last night will be up soon). Anyway, since I was there I checked out their exhibition “Cartier & Aldo Cipulle”, the exhibit includes 40 jewels from the era as well archival drawings, articles and scrapbooks.I really liked it! Kungaparets private villa på Mauritius
Och sist men inte minst bjuder jag på en liten bild av hur vårt kungapar bor när dom unnar sig lite semester på Mauritius! Tord är ju hederskonsul här på ön och har varit här över 60 gånger, givetvis har hans familj samt kungaparet och hela den familjen varit med mer än än gång. Alla verkar tycka mycket om ön men sist, när prinsen, Tord Magnusons söner samt prinsessan Madeleine var med, blev det lite för mycket papparazzi-fokus på Madeleine vilket ställde till semester lite. – Det var fotografer hela tiden som jagade Madeleine, vi byggde skydd så att hon skulle få ligga och sola lite i fred men dom var helt omöjliga. Klädde ut sig till fiskare och åkte ut med båt och tele på kamerorna för att få bilder från havet.
