Last night’s 2012 Academy Awards was one for the history books! In case you missed it, here are the highlights! The Artist won five Oscars including the most coveted awards, best picture, director, and lead actor. The black and white favorite was the first silent film to nab best picture honors since the first Academy Awards were held in 1929. Octavia Spencer won her first Oscar, taking one home for best supporting actress.
