My friends over at NET-A-PORTER asked me to round up some of my favorite trends and items for the summer. Grunge During lazy days I take, once again, inspiration from grunge. We’ve seen it before, but I can’t help but to want to wear a plaid shirt tied around my waist, some distressed denim with a wide cut, and some red accent colors. The Spring 2012 men’s line was typical Smalto with its many light-weight suits – this time inspired by the 1970s. However, the many of the suits featured a embroideries, like a crocodile skin, that added an extra touch and drove home Smalto’s commitment to hand tailoring.
