    Beauty buzz

As a Dries Van Noten fan I can’t wait to get my hands on the first Dries Van Noten parfume, in a collaboration with Frederic Malle. The scent is built around natural sandlewood and features citron, guaiac wood, cashmeran, tonka bean, vanilla, saffron, jasmine and musk. Pic: Purple

  • MMM for H&M

NINE FLOORS OF party last night when H&M celebrated their Margiela collaboration. There are no parties as the H&M parties, and each designer makes there own impression. Instead of a fashion show Margiela had dancers preformed in the collection on each floor.

  • Margiela for H&M the presentation

JUST GOT BACK from Mondrian Hotel where I met up with Margareta Van Den Bosch and the designer team behind Margiela for a presentation of the collaboration. I think this H&M collaboration is one of the better I’ve seen in a while. It was really a pleasure to hear more about the actually pieces. Margaretas favorite is the “Car seat cover dress”, and you can really tell that it’s truly inspired by a “car seat cover”

On Monday June 18th, the STEFANO RICCI company celebrated it’s 40th Anniversary with a unique Fashion Show event in the Uffizi Gallery Museum in Florence. A meaningful and emotional fashion show, the first to be held in the Uffizi Gallery; a tribute to elegance and to the Florentine Heritage, strongly desired by the designer Stefano Ricci. ”On behalf of my family, I would like to extend my gratitude to the Superintendence for the effective collaboration of the last few weeks, for the availability since the very first steps of this dream turning into reality” said Stefano Ricci on the eve of the premiere fashion show opening the Pitti Immage Uomo. The presentation of the new collection was inspired by the themes of great literature, from the pages of Francis Scott Fitzgerald to the atmospheres evoked by Ernest Hemingway. In addition to Stefano Ricci’s passions, the true sartorial elegance of the 100% Made-in-Italy production and the Great Mother Africa

  • Elin Kling for Marciano

EARLIER THIS WEEK I posted a sneak a peek from the campaign shoot for GUESS. Today they launch the website for the collaboration, where you will be able to get all the info you need, and stay updated for the latest news. And I’m celebrating that with showing you one of the looks from my look book! Yihaa! I LOVE this denim-shirt, can’t believe I have to wait so long to wear it… It has a great wash and the fabric is amazing. The denim “the crazy denim” as I call them, is one of three that I made. All of them has a slouchy fit.
