Adele Rules The 2012 Grammy Awards
In case you missed it, The 2012 Grammy Awards were last night. And if you watched, you definitely couldn’t miss the fact that Adele totally took over! Not that anyone’s complaining! Adele won six awards last night, including the coveted ”Album of The Year.” If your keeping track, yes, that means she won every category she was nominated for!! And the fact that she won as many Grammy awards in one night as Whitney Houston had won in her entire career, shows that she is in good company. Until Saturday’s news of Whitney Houston, the pre-show drama had focused on Adele and how the six-time-nominee would fare in her first public performance since canceling a tour and having surgery on her vocal cords. So how did she do on her comeback performance of ”Rolling In The Deep?” Amazing!! Adele described her winning album ”21” as being about something ”everyone’s been through … which is a rubbish relationship,” But not all of us get the satisfaction of winning an award after we make it through our rubbish relationships! That’s life!
