HICKORY — Will Johnny White make it to Hollywood? His story and audition for “American Idol” is set to air Sunday, March 18, at 8 p.m.

White, a 2017 Hickory Career and Arts Magnet High School graduate, began his journey in song three years ago when he joined the school’s performing arts program.
